SEASON 1
TIME LIMITED TOURNAMENTS
PVP games, in ecosystems with a limited active user base (such as Solana), can suffer in managing to keep constant gaming uptime, attention, and user involvement within their platforms.
Hence why the ENERGYBLOCKS team, has engineered the format for the game to maximize the player involvement and retention.
For Season 1 the focus will be on time-limited tournaments.
Players will pay a small entry fee to each tournament (e.g. 2-5 SOL) .
Tournaments will last 1 month.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, there will be 1-hour instances (at peak blockchain activity timezone) where the competition evolves.
This game format helps increase the stakes and rewards of the game, heightening the senses and emotions of playing by concentrating player activity in 8 unique instanced live action gaming sessions.
Following the exact same format as the Great Mint Tournament, all players will be able to earn prizes every day they play.
SEASONAL ACCESORY REWARDS
Players can also be rewarded, just for playing every game session within a tournament.
The ENERGYBLOCKS algorithm, at the beginning of each tournament, determines certain secret random parameters and registers player activity, rewarding them with special Accessories the end of the tournament, if they completed the most of that activity during the tournament.
For example:
- Player who won the most games with block [E] and [W].
- Player who played the most games specifically with blocks [E7] and [S9]
- Player who lost the most games specifically with blocks [BX] and [E11]
These Accessory Rewards are tournament exclusive accessories that can be added to an NFT (changing the underlying metadata) and increasing the rarity and perceived value of the NFT.
These Accessories will not only improve the aesthetic element of the NFT but will also increase the % Revenues Share attributed to that NFT.
