How To Play?

ENERGYBLOCKS in an incredibly intuitive game which can be learnt in 3 minutes. This guide will help you learn the basics to start mastering the art of winning grids and earning EB tokens.

1. WHAT IS A BLOCK?

This is a block. Specifically, it is a block of Ethea energy with the value X.

There are 4 different types of energy: Ethea, Bixao, Solam and Weax.

Each one of these blocks can have 13 different values, from the lowest to the highest:

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 , 10 , 11, 12, 13, X

2. WHAT IS A SEQUENCE?

The different possible combinations which can be formed with each of the 2 player blocks and the 5 blocks on the Grid (table).

There are 10 possible combinations (from higher to lower value): Supreme Sequence > High Sequence >

Quadrant > Unit > Sequence > Flow > Triangle > Double Twin > Twin > High Block

3. WHAT ARE E-BLOCKS?

EB (E-Blocks) are the energy players use to play a game and to try and win EB from other players.

EB can be exchanged for cryptocurrencies at a fixed rate.

4. HOW DO YOU EARN EB?

EB are earned by playing and winning games of ENERGYBLOCKS against other players.

5. HOW DO YOU WIN A GAME?

The winner of an ENERGYBLOCKS game is the player who has the blocks of highest value or that forms the Sequence of highest value by the time the game ends. A player can also win, if they place the highest amount of EB in favour of their blocks for that specific game without any other player matching it.

Here you may find from 1 to 10 the Sequences of highest to lowest ranking value:

7. EB CHARGE-UPS

In a game, each player can take any of the following actions during their turn:

AUDIT: This means the player chooses to continue to the next round without raising the EB charge. This is only possible if no other player previously in the same round has raised the EB charge. If all participating players in the game choose to AUDIT, the game continues to the next round.

ON: If a previous player has raised the EB charge during their turn, the player may choose to do ON and match the EB amount to continue playing the round and game.

OFF: The player may choose to leave that game. By doing so, they will no longer play the next rounds of that game with their blocks and therefore will not be able to win it.

GROW: The player may increase the EB charge if no other player in that round has done so previously. The minimum a player can GROW is the EB High Charge set for the Pre-Circuit.

Once the EB charge has been increased, the rest of the players must match the EB charge amount in that round to continue playing that game.

If a previous player in that round has increased the EB charge, the player must match that and increase it further if they want to do a GROW. The minimum the player can increase the EB is the same amount which was set in the GROW from the previous player.

For example: In a round, Player A has done a GROW of 100 EB, the player B has to increase the GROW a minimum of 100 EB more, increasing the GROW charge amount to 200 EB total.

The rest of the players must match the new charge amount or raise it further to continue playing the round and be able to win the game.

FULL CHARGE: Each player can use the máximum EB they have at the start of each game. this allows the player during their turn of any round to do a ‘Full Charge’ and increase the EB battery with whatever EB they have remaining from the start of the game.

This allows a player to participate in all rounds and games they choose to despite not being able to match a specific EB charge increase.

In the case that the player does not have enough EB to match, they will do a ‘Full Charge’ and would participate in the corresponding part of the EB battery for that game. Other players who continue in the following rounds will form part of another corresponding part of the EB accumulated within the battery. If various players did a ‘Full Charge’ the EB accumulated in the battery would be divided in the corresponding parts when the EB is distributed at the end of the game.

8. ROUNDS

Each game of ENERGYBLOCKS has four rounds: Pre-Circuit, First Circuit, Second Circuit and Full Circuit

Each round of ENERGYBLOCKS is always played following a clockwise order.

Pre-Circuit: At the beggining of each game (Pre-Circuit) , the player with the lit up bar is the ‘Exchanger’ , followed by the next player who adds a predetermined amount of EB called the Low Charge . The next player adds a larger predetermined EB amount to the battery called the High Charge . After the first round of EB supply, two blocks are supplied to each player. The player after the High Charge is the first one to take action in the game.

You can see an example of the order at the start of a game (Pre-Circuit) in the following image:

The player whose turn it is to be the Low Charge for that round will preset supply 50% of the EB that the High Charge also preset supplies.

In order for all players to continue playing they must match the preset EB amount of the High Charge.

For example:

Other Grid Players: 0 EB + ON (100 EB) = 100 EB

Low Charge Player: 50 EB + ON (50 EB) = 100 EB

High Charge Player: 100 EB = 100 EB

Players which do not match the High Charge amount (OFF) will not be able to continue to the next round and won’t be able to play with their blocks or win that game.

In this round, players have the chance to increase the EB battery charge (GROW) if they wish to.

First Circuit:This round starts once the 3 first grid blocks are activated, followed by the possible increase in EB charges by the players.

Second Circuit: In this round, 1 more block is activated, making it 4 active blocks visible within the Grid. This initiates a new round of potential EB charge increases by the players.

Full Circuit: This round activates the last block, making it a total of 5 blocks on the Grid, which leads to the last round of potential increase in EB charges by the players.

In the last round there is one more chance for any of the remaining players to increase the EB charge. After that, all players remaining that have matched the last EB charge will reveal their blocks to activate the winning sequence of highest value which will determine the winner of the EB accumulated in the battery for that game. If the winning sequence is shared by two or more players, the accumulated EB on the battery will be split equally between them.

The accumulated EB in the battery would be won by the last player to increase the charge (GROW) in the case that other players do not match (OFF) that previous increase made by the player.

9. LEXICON

Player Blocks: The two blocks each players has at the beggining of each game. These two blocks are only visible to the player unless the game ends and participant players reveal their blocks to win the battery.

Grid Blocks: In the game, 5 blocks appear on the Grid which are visibile to all players and shared by all players. Two blocks (Player Blocks) are sent to each player at the start of each game and jointly with the 5 blocks of the Grid, sequences are created which determine the battery winner.

Positive Charge Block: One of the blocks from both Player Blocks which are not sequenced with the Grid Blocks and has the highest value.

Tie Breaker: A situation in which two or more players form the same sequences with their blocks and one or more blocks from the Player Block or Grid Block determine if a player wins the EB battery or if it is split by the players with that form the same sequences.

10. GRID PLAYER INTERFACE

  1. PLAYER BATTERY: the EB actions of a player and the indication of a players turn in that round.

  2. GRID BATTERY: the EB accumulated on the Grid. As players keep adding EB to the Grid Battery after each round, the Grid Battery accumulates the total amount of EB played.

    At the end of a game, the total EB charged on the battery will be distributed to the winner or winners of a game.

  3. EXCHANGER: the exchanger bar indicates in a clock-wise direction, the turn of the next player as well as the High Charge and Low Charge for each round.
